PRESS RELEASE. JULY 4th 2019
Calling All Piano Players
CBOI LAUNCH PERCUSSION PROGRAMME
If you are a young piano player aged 13 – 24yrs, have achieved Gr 5 or higher and would like to join the PERCUSSION SECTION of the renowned Cross Border Orchestra of Ireland, THIS IS FOR YOU. The CBOI is launching an initiative aimed at encouraging young PIANO players to take up PERCUSSION and join the Cross Border Orchestra of Ireland. Piano players can already read difficult rhythms and have mastered coordination so moving in to percussion is not difficult for them. If you are interested in this initiative and can commit to our schedule, we’d love to hear from you. Please email: firstname.lastname@example.org or phone our office on 042 937 0494
*This programme is for young piano players aged 13 – 24 yrs who have achieved a merit in Grade 5 or higher.
*The initiative will commence with an intensive course in August.
*Candidates will then become full members of the CBOI participating in our full schedule of rehearsals and performances.
Each year the CBOI receives numerous enquiries from young people who play piano and would love to be in the Orchestra but can’t as they don’t play an orchestral instrument. This initiative is geared towards giving these young people the opportunity to join the CBOI and become part of our successful team of extremely talented and committed young musicians.
If you are interested in this initiative and can commit to our schedule, we’d love to hear from you. Please email: email@example.com or phone our office on 042 937 0494
