Opportunity for ONE young Percussionists or Piano Players to join the Cross Border Orchestra of Ireland
The CBOI is seeking a new member for our PERCUSSION section starting immediately. If you are a youngpercussionist aged 15 – 18yrs or a young piano player who has achieved Gr 5 or higher and would like to join the PERCUSSION SECTION of the renowned Cross Border Orchestra of Ireland, THIS IS FOR YOU. Piano players canread difficult rhythms and have mastered coordination so percussion is not difficult for them.
Rehearsals are held on Sundays from 12:15 – 4:30pm in Coláiste Chu Chulainn, Dundalk. 14 concerts will be held throughout Ireland in Spring 2023 followed by a celebration performance at Carnegie Hall, New York on 17th March 2022.

Rehearsals take place on 3 Sundays per month in Colláiste Chú Chulainn, Dundalk from 12:15 – 4:30pm
Our annual Ireland/UK Peace Proms Tour involves up to 15 concerts, held over 5 weekends (two concerts on Saturdays and two concerts on Sundays), from the end of January until mid-March.
Concerts are held in the Echo Arena Liverpool, the SSE Arena Belfast, the Simmonscourt Arena RDS Dublin, and at other Arenas throughout Ireland.
All members cover their own travel, accommodation and subsistence costs.
