Because of the high incidence of Covid-19 among school children it is necessary to move our choir workshops online. We are aware that because of pupil and staff absences due to Covid-19, and seasonal work in the run up to Christmas some schools many not feel adequately prepared for choir workshops in January. Choir workshops will now be held before Easter at a date to be confirmed.
CHOIR WORKSHOP FORMAT
- Workshops will be delivered live via Zoom (or similar) by conductor Greg Beardsell.
- Workshops will be given before Easter at a dates to be confirmed.
- Greg will work through the choir programme, including choreography as usual with a live choir and will interact with school choir groups via Zoom. Teachers will have the opportunity to interact and ask questions.
- Schools will be sent a link for the workshop where they can register in advance.
- Workshops are an essential part of the Peace Proms programme and it is a requirement to take part.
