CBOI in PERPETUAL MOTION:

CBOI kicked off our 24th academic year with our annual Summer Workshop at the Dundalk Institute of Technology, and what an incredible week it was! Progress was monumental! The commitment, concentration and growing confidence of our members is remarkable! We cannot thank our tutors enough for their inspirational dedication to music education and their patient and encouraging approach yielding fantastic results in all our sections. Thanks to Aoife Dennedy (Cello), Dan Bodwell (Bass) Patricia Treacy, Liam Monagher and Roisin Morrow (Upper Strings); Phil Fergusson (Brass); Dan Dunne, Aine Balfe and Bernie Balfe (Woodwind); Dan Roe (Percussion). It was wonderful to welcome back inspirational and luminous conductor Mr. Greg Beardsell for his 4th season with the CBOI. His reassuring, motivational and positive approach to working with the full ensemble is incredible. This promises to be a sensational year!!!
