WHAT IS COUNT US IN?

LEARN WITH THE BEST!

Over 150 children and young people currently participate in CUI
An additional 120 young musicians are members of the Cross Border Orchestra of Ireland (CBOI)
Many now studying music at university
More than 30% achieve Distinctions in ABRSM music exams
Modelled on the world-renowned ‘El Sistema’ method of music education, based on group learning and performance

IS THIS PROGRAMME RIGHT FOR YOU?

Ideal for families committed to serious music study and future participation in the CBOI
Parents may be required to attend lessons with their child
100% attendance and commitment to Sunday lessons is essential
Daily practice at home is required
All students must sit the ABRSM music exam each year
Violin should be started as early as possible due to its difficulty
Trombone and Double Bass are recommended for children aged 12 and over
