Music for Peace – A Humanitarian Concert Supporting Children Affected by Conflict. NCH Dublin, Sunday 6th September 2026 at 3.00pm.
Tickets for Music for Peace will go on sale at 10am on 3rd July 2026 and will be available exclusively through the National Concert Hall website at https://www.nch.ie/all-events-listing/music-for-peace-sep26
Presented by the Cross Border Orchestra of Ireland in partnership with UNICEF and Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders), the concert aims to raise vital funds to provide urgently needed humanitarian assistance, including food, medical supplies and essential support services for children affected by conflict and humanitarian crises.
In an extraordinary commitment to the cause, 100% of all box office income will be donated directly to humanitarian relief efforts. In addition, all funds raised through ticket sales and public donations will be matched by the concert’s principal supporting sponsor, doubling the impact of every contribution.
This special event will bring together the 100-member Cross Border Orchestra of Ireland, a 300-member children’s choir and a host of special guest artists in a powerful celebration of music, compassion and solidarity.
For more than thirty years, the Cross Border Orchestra of Ireland has brought young people together across communities and traditions through the shared language of music. Through Music for Peace, children and young people from across Ireland will have the opportunity to stand in solidarity with children facing unimaginable hardship in conflict zones around the world.
The concert will serve as a powerful demonstration of children helping children and of young people using their voices, talents and collective goodwill to make a meaningful difference. At a time when millions of children are living through the devastating effects of war, displacement and humanitarian emergencies, Music for Peace will send a message of hope, compassion and shared humanity.
